Winnie the Pooh cuddled Christopher Robin and whispered: “If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.” Unlike the super heroes, who live forever, us humans we don’t. In order to stay healthy we need to keep in mind one simple thing: to wash our hands and dry them properly.
The majority of infections are spread through contact. Viruses and bacteria can be transmitted for example by a handshake or objects touched by other people such as door handles. Therefore hands need to be washed and dried before eating and especially after visiting the toilet.
Paper towel is the most hygienic choice for drying your hands. However, like a missing door handle, people don’t think about the paper until it’s gone. When it is gone, it can ruin an otherwise perfect working day.
Hygienic paper towel is the number one choice
65% of Europeans prefer to dry their hands with a paper towel. People appreciate clean washrooms: no smells, clean look and enough toilet paper and hand towels available. And preferably, the paper should be soft, absorbent and strong.
Katrin has long-term expertise on public washrooms, and strives to continuously improve the quality of those. Katrin team uses its wide expertize to help customers choose the optimal products and solutions. You can contribute to protecting the environment by choosing the right products to right places.
Did you know that…
The main raw material for Katrin is renewable Nordic wood from sustainably managed forests. Katrin products perform to their optimum when they are used for the right purpose in the right environment.
Katrin washroom products include toilet tissue and hand towels with innovative Katrin Inclusive System Dispensing solutions, as well as conventional tissue products, wiping rolls, facial tissues and soaps. The products are not only functional but actually contribute to reduced consumption, generate less waste, and have positive effects for economy, environment, and hygiene at every stage of their life cycle. A properly functioning dispenser decreases consumption, the need for servicing and saves time. Also a high absorbency tissue means that less paper goes down the toilet. Minimized paper consumption means less transport, less waste and therefore a lower impact on the environment.
In Katrin team we clearly see the importance of our work: our products bring hygiene and wellbeing to everyday life of millions of people. However we do realize that very seldom people think about us or our products. Until they run out. So, if you forget… following the logic of Winnie the Pooh, a rather short and easy reminder: Don’t forget the paper!
