65% of Europeans prefer to dry their hands with a paper towel. People appreciate clean washrooms: no smells, clean look and enough toilet paper and hand towels available. And preferably, the paper should be soft, absorbent and strong.

• Tissue paper silts up in as little as 30 days.
• When you discard a used paper towel, a new one has already grown to replace it. In one second, forest growth covers the full-year tissue paper consumption of 70 Europeans.
• One full-size log provides approximately one cubic meter of wood. This is enough to produce enough tissue paper for 12 Europeans for a year.
• The fibre raw material can be recycled 5–7 times. After that, the final product can be used as energy or bio waste.
• The average European consumes approximately 10 kg of tissue paper year.

The main raw material for Katrin is renewable Nordic wood from sustainably managed forests. Katrin products perform to their optimum when they are used for the right purpose in the right environment.
